Ghost Hunters of Ottawa for Scientific Truth

Melanie

Investigator

Field of study:

Funeral Service/Embalming

Background:

Things in life that are not understood are very easily judged by most, especially if it holds an amount of uncertainty. Everyday promotes a new experience and ever since I can remember the paranormal and unexplained phenomenon encompassed my world. When I was young, I had a lot of unusual, coincidental and unexplained occurrences in different houses. My parents still remember those times as vividly as I do. All of these experiences were unique and taught me more about awareness, perception and truth. I wanted to understand and search for answers, proof, and most importantly,  help others find answers for what is happening to them. I wanted to meet people who are also interested in this cause and I am sure I found them. In 2018, I joined G.H.O.S.T.

Investigator/Pre-investigations

Field of study

Psychology (B.A.)

Background:

I’m a small town girl who has always had a strong interest in all things unexplained, specifically the paranormal. I’ve worked in emergency communications for about 15 years, and through that experience, have gained a lot of perspective on life and people. I’ve had a number of profound experiences with death through the years that have stuck with me, and led me to where I am today.

Investigator-in training

I've had multiple experiences with the paranormal ever since a close call of my own. I have felt them around me, seen them, and heard them. I have seen multiple shadow figures in many homes I have walked into or lived in, including experiences at my current home. I've  had a curiosity about the paranormal and have always wondered what’s on the other side. I have been told by an empath that I seem to attract them like a moth to a light. So joining this group, just came natural to me.
